Good produce, seafood department was closing when we got there however the girl working there got what we needed and was very pleasant. Prices seemed higher than other Price Choppers, I think due to lack of any competition.
Clean and friendly, the staff is very helpful. You can order fish or shrimp dinners from the fish market section of the store while you shop and pick it up before checkout.
Hudson PC is good for quick shopping. With two other grocery stores very nearby, not very busy.
Produce section isn’t as good as Hannaford’s in Valatie. Selection in general is pretty standard. Not a lot of interesting options. Prices are OK.
When Price Chopper replaced their previous Ghent store (really, I think of this as Chatham...) they built an entirely new building that is much larger and more fully stocked. Sure, you lose some of that slightly seedy John Updike "A&P" feel, but you get a brand spanking new space with a great assortment of produce, meats, and deli. No, it isn't a fancy-pants Market32, but we're not the Berkshires, either.
